The State Crime Record Bureau situated in Police Line, Moginand, Panchkula, Haryana is a subsiadry unit of Haryana Police. SCRB, Haryana is now monitoring the Crime & Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS), Inter-operable Criminal Justice System (ICJS) and National Automated Finger Print System (NAFIS) in the State as Nodal agency. SCRB is also acting as State Project Management Unit for CCTNS & ICJS. To implement CrPC(I) Act in the State, 31 Measurement Collection Units (MCUs) have been set up - one in every district, two in each commissionerate. Proposal for another 33 MCUs is pending for NCRB’s consideration. SCRB also consolidate and send crime data to National Crime Records Bureau for publication of Crime in India every year. SCRB Haryana has also started publication of Crime in Haryana based on CCTNS data.
